The 20th Russian Women's Champion was held in Moscow on September 10-11. The tournament was a success given that 16 women participated, which meant there was more competition for everyone. In her first appearance since she last won in 1996, Svetlana claimed her 4th Russian women's championship.

In July 2011, Ilya headed to Bordeaux France to compete in the Pandanet European Team Go Championship and to defend his Championship at the European Go Congress. After Russia defeated Romania in the Finals to win the Pandanet tournament, Ilya went 9 wins with only 1 loss, finishing first overall among European players. Congratulations!
